People Magazine just had an article on disappearances and crime on board cruise ships. If the article is to truthful, the cruise ships often spend several hours searching the ship before the assumption that someone might have fallen/been pushed overboard. By then there is very little chance of rescue. It went on further to discuss how they are not monitored by any type of law enforcement and crime can be a major problem on board. Just one more scarey thing about cruises....
