My first concert, October 17, 1987. I was 14, my sis was 16, it was Whitesnake opening for Motley Crue, the Girls Girls Girls tour. I stil have all my tour shirts frome very concert I've been to, best quality shirts were the ones I got from Slayer concerts oddly enough.

Cheap Trick opening for REO Speedwagon, don't remember the year. It was either that or The Jacksons Reunion tour in Comiskey Park. Inauspicious beginnings for someone who would spend most of her 20s watching live music.

Mine was the Beach Boys with John Stamos on the drums at Otis Airforce Base, I think I was 9 or 10. I had a great time, if you can imagine that. Though I did get lost in the swarm of people and wound out at an first aid tent waiting for my friends parents to find me

Me, too.

The brother of a friend of my dad's was the drummer for a band called "707". They opened for REO in Lexington, KY on the High Infidelity tour. We got back stage passes, so I thought I was pretty cool.

I met the guys in the dressing room and I remember some lady in the back named "Lizard" gave me a RedWings hocky stick. WTF?!

Stray Cats at the Baltimore Arena somewhere around 1983 or 1984...remember their hits songs were "Rock This Town" and "Stray Cat Strut" and "She's Sexy and 17".

I've been trying to remember through the fog since this post started. I was supposed to go to Led Zeppelin in '77 but my mom wouldn't let me go That would have been my first concert.

After that it was probably a couple of unknowns at the Troubador or the Whiskey.

For the life of me I can't remember the first "big" concert I went to.

I have seen:
Journey
The Babies
The Who
The Clash
Yes
Robert Plant
The Firm (Jimmy Page)
ZZ Top
Judas Preist
Motorhead
Rush
Golden Earring
Cheap Trick
Jethro Tull
The Eagles
John Fogerty
Brian Setzer Ochestra
Smash Mouth
Triumph
Rolling Stones
Van Hager
Guns n Roses (got to see Axel fall off stage)

Geez, I know there's more too. :p

TROOPER!!!! 1981 Ontario, Canada.

My buddy and I just happened to take a spin over to the arena on our motorcycles and found a window smashed in one of the side doors. So we parked our bikes and snuck in. Had a blast!

Jethro Tull, 1970 or 1971, right after Aqualung came out. A couple cousins and I thumbed up to the Hampton (NH) Beach Casino from our place in Seabrook Beach and got hoisted up the gutter into the ballroom window along with many others. I was only 14 or 15.
The Casino closed for many years after that one.
