We found them to be just fabulous as others have written about.
I wish I was going back but, must wait until another time.
My husband and I are both 28 but MAN we felt old as dirt when we were in Senor Frog's last year while in Cancun. OLD. Hell, we got kicked out! Ha ha ha!

Carboncitos is on my list...that was one of the first things I did when I started lurking here...came straight to the food section!

I'll have to remember this...man, I'm gonna wear my pdc out while down there!

The music is chill at that time of day. Very relaxing. Only downside is that the service is damn near non-existent because there is a shift change going on and restocking activity taking place late in the afternoon. No big deal though, you just need to walk from your beach table up to the main bar and ask them to bring you more drinks. (hint: don't sit at the bar until later--your pdc only works at the tables at the BP).

Gotcha...do not sit at bar. OK, got it. Chill is good, too. Lack of service...fine. I'll be in Playa...I won't care! (is it time for me to catch my flight yet???)

We're staying at the Royal Porto Real...but will be out in full force up and down 5th Avenue. We've got Nerak beads....so I'll keep my eye out! We just might run into each other!

Hmmm...the Playa Maya huh? I know I want to try their Coconut Shrimp and Adam, my hubby, wants to check out the hotel for our next trip.

Agree. Late afternoon/early evening is he best time for the ****** IMO. Evening is for 5th Ave and late at night we migrate over to El Pirata.

We do the same routine! When it starts getting busy at the Parrot, we head to the TB, Captain Dave's, Siesta Fiesta and then end the night at El Pirata. Man, I can't wait!

You and me both....

Ahhh, what a great routine, eh? Too bad we're missing each other by a week.

No doubt! By about 6:00 p.m. Friday April 21, we'll be sipping on our first drinks in front of the Parrot. If you guys haven't left yet, look for the Nerak beads and a red "Sandpoint" ball cap. I'll buy the first round!

Unfortunately we leave the 20th. Thanks for the offer though. You'll just have to pick up where we leave off. Have fun!

I'll try and post when I'm there but I can't make any promises not to drink the town dry.
