Collectivos?

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a collectivo from Dolphin Discovery to the ruins at Tulum and then return to your hotel (BPCoba)?

The collectivos run up and down 307, the main highway. They do not go door-to-door. You have to walk up to 307 to catch the collectivos. I'm not sure how much walking is involved between 307 and Puerto Aventuras.
