OK; I'll Stick my Neck Out

WalMart prepared foods. Cheap, good, and fast.

I especially like the chicken wings, fried chicken (closest to KFC, in this town), sushi rolls and ceviche. It goes without saying that the donuts kick some serious #ss.

Hey,

I'm with you...The best food I ate while I was in Wyoming last summer was either Wal Mart take out or KFC buffet.......

Don't be ashamed,

Thanks for answering a question before I even asked it!
Someone earlier had mentioned ceviche at WalMart for $1.50 a pound, and I was intrigued, wondering just how good could it be?

I've looked at the ceviche a lot in Wal-Mart (even tonight), but I never see much fish in there. It is cheap though!

PDS...there is really fish in with all of that sauce?!

Nah, it's just the flesh from the little children who work their fingers to the bone...

Actually, there is quite a bit of fish. Won't find any other sea delicacies in it, but the fish is good. They have a red and a clear ceviche. I prefer the clear.

I have to admit I bought some seriously delish doughnuts at WalMart today. They were braided, with some kind of yummy icing - almost tasted like maple, and lots of it. Well ... if I'm joining in sticking out my neck, I'll also have to admit I mostly bought them because of the icing and I was not disappointed.

Then my friend Sara came over with a hunk of watermelon, saying she was giving up sugar and starch for a couple of weeks and would I like it? Made me feel even more guilty. I don't usually buy watermelon, because I'm the only one in the house who eats fruit, but I'm sure enjoying that little hunk. Maybe there's hope for me yet ...

Good! I always look at it, so I'll grab it next time. It's pretty inexpensive! Thanks!

Damn! Heather's new dieting habits have rubbed off on Sara too?! Try the sugar coated donuts too! They are great. I know the donuts you are talking about...I was drooling over them tonight. But, Heather has passed on her dieting book to me and I didn't see them in there!

Yeah, what is this, an epidemic? Maybe I'll catch it!
