Omni Puerto aventuras??? Has anyone been?? Honeymoon?

Hello! I would love any information anyone had on the onmni puerto aventuras resort. I love how they have hot tubs on the balconies, but I haven't heard any reviews of there yet. I am going for my honeymoon, and we want a place with things to do, but also relaxed. PLease let me know, and if you have any other suggestions I would love to hear them! Thanks!
Jaime

Why would I want to change my destination? Do you have any suggestions... that was what I was hoping for.
Thanks

Jaime,

We just got back from staying at the Aventuras Spa Palace resort which is right next to the town (condo village?) known at Puerto Aventuras. During a visit to town we went through the Omni to see the beach. The hotel is a little older than a lot of the resorts along the coast, however, the property seemed in good condition and the beach there looked great. As much as I enjoyed Playa del Carmen on day trips, I appreciated the quiet atmosphere that the Spa Palace and I sure Puerto Aventuras has to offer at night.

DJ

PS I have a couple of pictures of the beach there that I'll scan in once I return to work next week

Omni Hotel

I stayed at the Marival Cameleon. But I was over by the Omni. I would have loved to have stayed there.....it looked so nice, and on a beautiful beach. Go for it. It was too expensive for us, but it looked gorgeous. Excellent snorkeling there.....that's why we went over there all the time. A nice beach for walking too!

Did you go?
