How many "lucky dogs" have tomorrow off?

I have to get up and drive to stinkin Philly and be there by 7:00am!!!
Needless to say, this three hour drive puts a damper on enjoying the Super Bowl. Got the day off?

Tomorrow off. No. Gotta work. Worse, gotta start Eastern time. (That's freaking 5AM).

The Mexican Government recently passed a law that moved all holidays falling on the weekend, to Monday. Tomorrow is the first one, as today is Constitution Day. What a stroke of luck.

However, my company had already made class schedules, promotional calendars, and agendas based on the old holiday schedule. With over 100 schools and 40,000 students, this is no small thing to fix. I almost had to go student by student (we have about 600) and tell them not to show up tomorrow.

Meanwhile, my staff is coming over for the game. Time to show them some Super Bowl hospitality.

You are one of the luckier dogs because of where you'll watching it!

That is funny, because I was thinking the opposite. Normally, Thanksgiving is the only day I get pangs of homesickness. Today, I was kind of feeling like I would like to be in the US for the Super Bowl (preferably in Detroit ).

My ex-wife is from near Pittsburgh, and I was having a hankering for some perogies and kraut. I think I will give them a call just before the game to wish them luck, although I don't really care who wins (I like both teams, and think this is going to be a hell of a game.) I am blessed that my ex and I are still friends. Can't beat that dynamic.

Know what ya mean. I'm rootin for the stealers and have been a fan since the Bradshaw days. I've been in PDC for two superbowls but couldn't get down that early this year.
