Temporary Insanity

In my local neck of the woods we've been having a bit of a problem with our cable network. Every once in a while the sound goes out on the t.v. This has been going on for about three months now.

Softy called up the local cable company. The local cable company said that there was aproblem with people who had t.v.s manufactured by RCA. She said that sometimes when they ssend a signal something getslost in the trasnitting and the sound goes out.

To reset this we have to shut off the t.v. pull out both the t.v. and cable plugs and reinsert them. then we have to wait for the cable box to reset itself, before we turn on the tv.

So Softy called up RCA and they told her that they were working on this problem.

Well last night during the sperbowl, the sound went out three times in less then 30 minutes. One of the times it went out when the score was 14-10. I do the ritual of resetting the plugs and stuff. I turn on the tv and find out that there was a touch down, making the score 21-14.

To say the least I was fit to be tide. After the third time I was well all I could have pictured was some telemarketer from RCA or the cable company giving me a call. Vocalized murder was not above me at the time.

What makes you go temporary insane?

We've been having the same problem! It doesn't happen very often, but when it does it will do it over and over again and I have to re-set the cable box...very irritating! We also have an RCA TV. It's nice to know that RCA is working on the problem. Fortunately....it didn't happen to us during the superbowl.

kind of what I was thinking....how calm the board is without him....He will get a nut knowing we are talking about him....I leave in the morning so he can have it back for a week....
