Are all Mattresses created equal?
To buy in Mexico or not to buy, that is the question. I'm shipping one I have here anyway, so is the quality and or price better in the States or the same? Has anyone researched this one? Thanks as always for your help!!!

I don't know if bed bugs are an issue down in Playa, but they are starting to become an issue in New York and elsewhere in the US.
One possible cause is mattresses that are being made not entirely of brand-new materials. I have no idea what could possibly be recycled from one mattress to another, but ... Make sure any new mattress you buy is made of 100% new materials. |

I cannot imagine importing a mattress unless I had one and there was extra space left in my shipping container.

I'm with James: unless it's going to be wedged in to protect something else fragile or something, or unless you have some utterly rare back condition that requires an equally utterly rare mattress, it would be more or less silly to ship a mattress down here.
