I actually thought the service was better at the Barcelo in the buffet areas. We could never get our drinks at the Palladium. Also at the time we were at the Palladium the main pool seemed dirty. I heard a lot of comments on this from people who were staying there. I'm sure that's not always true, I'm just stating what I saw when we were there. I say again the resort was beautiful, the Japanese restaraunt was fun and we really enjoyed it and for those that are going they may not experience what we did. At both places you will find something you like to eat at the buffets. My son is verrry picky and loved the noodle station. He did not like the milk at the Barcelo and for some odd reason liked the milk at the Palladium. I'm glad we went to both resorts and enjoyed each one for various reasons, but I really do think you will be happy with the Barcelo. Any other questions, just ask.
