Decisions In.....

and I'll be doing my internship in Mexico this summer.

Now alot of you are going to ask why?
Well first my parents are paying for the airfare, and i respect there opinions. 5 months in housekeeping doesn't justify spending 2000 or more per semester, and there was no guarantee that I would be able to cross train in other departments.

It is also moving backwards. Not to mention I have been told by the last few companies that hired me that I have excellent references.

Also I would have had to pay for accomodations and all my food, and would be earning the same or less than in mexico.

I also have friends or as i call them family in mexico, and we all know playa is the best place on earth.

And last but not least I spoke with a prof that I really respect and he said that both opportunities are good, that he doesn't think I can go wrong with either, but if my goal is to end up in playa for good eventually, then there is probabley better as the operations there and here are much different.

Thanks again everyone for your opinions, it was a difficult decision.

What fun for you, and congratulations! While others had said that it would be better for your rez to go with the other job, I also thought that repeat work with one employer would look good, too.

I guess you can look at it as, if you have left the employer and they have hired you back then you must have something they like. Thats usually the first thing you ask when you contact references. If you had the opportunity to hire ______ back would you?

Haha thats what i meant by family/friends.....I am looking at April 21 flying over night and arriving on the 22nd in the morning, and returning on the 23 of sept.
