Internet connection in Junior Suites of Royal Porto Real

I'll be arriving Feb 25 and I need to so some work while in Playa at the RPR and on their site it says "in room TV internet connection". I was wondering if this means that I can hook up my laptop in my Junior Suite. I know that there is internet available at the hotel but does anyone have any information concerning internet in the rooms?

Perhaps it's a good idea to e-mail them directly with your question?
Just a thought.
Here's an address: real@realresorts.com.mx

Gotta hate that!

Did you try sales@realresorts.com.mx also?
Or groups@realresorts.com.mx?

Those are addresses I've seen on their website... which you probably have seen, too, but may not have tried yet. I hope that it'll work out for you anyway.

A little known sercert... I have stayed at the Grand Porto Real six or seven times, they have a internet connection for there five or six computers, that you have to pay for. I don't know why but if you go to the loby before the internet cafe' computers are turned on there is a open wireless... I am a early bird, I would get up at 5am and get caught up on all my e-mails and problems... hope this helps.

Thanks Rob I'll try that out...I wouldn't even mind paying a few bucks, just as long as I know I can get messages in and out a few times.

scotch, I am going to RPR in March so have been reading as many posts both here and on TA and locogringo.com that I can. I remember seeing one that spoke specifically about the tv internet at RPR, but I can't remember which site it was on. If you go to both/either of them and do a search on Royal Porto Real you will find it. Might take some time to sift through them all, but then you'll have all in the information on the resort that you will ever need....

On that theme...

Does anyone think there is a need for "Radio Wireless Internet" in Playa? I need a business to run when I move down there...

mmmm wireless internet...love it

I had my travel agent call the hotel and she assures that I can connect my laptop in the room. If it doesn't go that way...who cares!

When we stayed there in Sept. they only had internet in some rooms, hopefully by the time you go they will be in all the rooms.
