'Lost World' of Plant and Animal Species

I thought this was very interesting.

Researchers have discovered a 'Lost World' of dozens of previously unidentified plant and animal species in an isolated Indonesian Jungle.

So cool that they can still find an area in the world today never inhabited by humans - it's not that big of a place!

My son was telling me about that last night. "All those frogs," he said!

I think that is wonderful! Thanks for sharing. Too bad it has been found now, it won't ever be the same. But at least there are still parts of the world that have been untouched! Thanks again!

I liked the Tree Roo...The birds were also very intersting....Nice to know that there are places on the earth that have still not been explored....Of course you can mark that one off the list.

Never have so many unknown species have been so easily found, and in such a contained area.
It just goes to show the power of science and reasoning over obscurantism and dogma when some birds that previously had been identified and classified from such scant evidence as mere feathers end up being proved real.

Let's hope the likes of Disneyland, Carnivale and Walmart don't get their greedy mitts on the place...

Pretty hard to hunt them if they are 'unknown'.

:p

Nice to see you never miss a chance to interject your deep abiding loathing of certain things into a topic.
