Isla Mujeres need update!

I am looking for any info you may have on the condition of Isla since Wilma. We are going to the Avalon hotel in May and need to know if the hotel is completely open and how the beaches are. Any info you could give me would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'll be in Isla in March leaving the 13th be glad to check on it for you just PM me the week before I leave.

If you go to Tripadvisor.com and go to the Isla fourum you will get lots of info and answers. It is a fairly busy forum. We will be on Isla April 1 thru the 4th. All info I have seen is that while there is still some damage they are working hard to repair it and several regulars say it is still a great place.
