Where to find the best live music in PDC

We are headed to PDC March 8, 2006.

Where is the best place to hang out in the evening and listen to good tunes?

Captain Dave's on 10th Avenue between 6th and 8th Street has live music, as do Tequila Barrel on 5th Avenue between 10th and 12th Street. Both good places, popular with the locals.

Use the search function. There are tons of threads about this topic.

Easy answer, though: wander up and down 5th Ave., knock down a bunch of drinks with total strangers, and ask them. Oh, and don't miss Grady at Captain Dave's.

Last year we went to Captain Dave's on tenth ave. and saw Grady 3-4 times. I think we only saw him finish a complete song twice. We had a great time. This year we went to Captain Dave's again and heard some great music. Most nights Brent(really good guitar player) and Carlos(bass) played, and a few nights Chriss played with them or alone. Grady is playing at Captain Dave's on the beach (at about calle 2) most days from about 3pm until 6 or 7 pm. Both fun places

Hmmm , yes Grady was having a rough time ... putting too much effort into his day job ! Chris was great though and as always so were Brent and Carlos --- apart from " down in France " !
