How do you add a photo to a thread? Tried search, but no specific instructions for a computer dummy. Thanks!http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...g/IMG_4637.jpg My Nerak beads in waiting for their proper use, PDC!

Where are you trying to add a photo from? It has to be "parked" somewhere on the internet, with an address, like something starting with an "http", and then you can use the "insert image" icon right above this box (the yellow one that looks like a post card) to use the process.

Here are the instructions from our great Forum Godess Denisea should you be using Photobucket until our Multimedia section comes back. First and foremost, your pics have to be downloaded from your cam into your computer. I have the Windows XP Picture It and I also installed the program that came with my camera when I bought it. I assume that you all have done this step.
1. Go to Photobucket & login to your account 2. Go to the album where your pic is located 3. Under the picture, there should be 3 different lines of code (URL, tag & IMG). Go to the IMG code, highlight it (left click) and copy it (control C) 4. Now go to your post (that you have already started) on the forum and paste (control V) the line of code where you want it to appear in your post. NOTE:I keep separate windows (minimized) for both Photobucket and the Forum where I am posting to execute the steps. 5. Then hit the submit button if you want to see how your post looks before you submit it. Hope this helps. ![]() |
