Gala resort - family post wedding gathering

Son is getting married in Canada on Friday 25th April. On 27th April Wedding party and sundry relatives and friends will be heading down to Playa Del Carmen to stay at the Gala Resort. I thought it might be really great if the couple could have some kind of little ceremony on the beach, with a Mariachi Band and a simple ceremony.

We definitely don't need the services of a Wedding co-ordinator with the $1000 cost - just a fun surprise type of thing for the newly weds.

Anyone out there have any idea on how I can go about organizing this little affair - there will only be about 10 people. Thanks for your help
