Woohoo, leaving tomorrow! There is more beach in all of these photos than anywhere in Oklahoma Time for some drinks, good food, and beach relaxation!

Still hoping that we end up with the third floor deluxe balcony that we requested (although I'm pretty sure we will be on 2)

That kind of thing can never last long, with the traffic on the beach, so you know it must have just been happening shortly before the photo was taken, to still be like that. That particular little stretch of beach may have lost as much as 10 feet just over the course of that day. But of course all that might well have been filled in again with sand over the course of the following day or so, too.

Well Rick's photos were posted just a couple of days earlier, and he couldn't have been standing far north of us, or too farrther north of your position, when he took this one:

So also over short spaces as well as over short periods of time, you can get what many people might consider to be significant changes.

Your right....it changes......but Wednesday 5-9.....I had about 15 feet to walk between the water and the loungers at Playa Maya. Thats narrow. Yes,it changes, maybe even the next day....even hourly...just relaying what I saw for the week. We were staying at Fusion and there is no beach there...period. We always went south or north of Fusion to access the water.

Why so much seaweed this year? It looks a bit better now than when we there in February. North of Playa Maya it was downright disgusting with the amount of seaweed there. I have never seen it this bad before. Is there a special reason for it?
