Wow. Just looked at a map to refresh "between Constituyentes and 6th", I didn't notice it to be that much of the beachfront to have a drop off last year, I remember it being bad right before and around the Gran Porto Real, but I can't remember it stretching all the way to 6th... that SUCKS.

And to think it was just over a year ago I shot these - I was impressed and perhaps overly optimistic.

That's how I remember it when I was there last year Feb.20th -27... I didn't see any of the trucks and things at all either... just nice beach... is it alot different?

Anybody know about the status of RIU Palace's beach? I'm very concerned after reading this thread... and I was the one who suggested this location- I hope I don't dissapoint everyone

go back and check on who did not like this project from the get go
at my most optimistic i was appalled

i am looking forward to the day the beaches are exactly like they would have been if nothing had been done
