Senor Frogs and Captain Tutix??

Hello. My boyfriend and I are going to Playa in May and have been doing some research on where to go. One site we came across claimed that both Senor Frogs and Captain Tutix were closed due to Hurricane Wilma and were not going to reopen. Does anyone have any info about these places??

I'll make Babaloo proud here and suggest you try a search with the tab at the top of the page. Otherwise, it sounds like Senor Frogs is rebuilding for sure.
Whether or not anything will be "done" in May, probably so, if not...you shouldn't worry about it...afterall...you will still be in Playa Del Carmen= Paradise!

Thanks. This is the first time we have been to this forum and did not know about the search function, so thats for telling us, it made it much easier. I'm sure we will have a great time no matter what but we were just wondering. This is our first trip to PDC and both places seemed to be recommended to us by others. Anyways, thanks for the update and info. Tara and Jason.

actually, we did tell you about it during the sign-up agreement, which is the same content as the announcement on this forum.

Hi Tara, Tuxix was closed long before the hurricane and won't reopen. Senor Frogs is rebuilding and has a lot to do. As of a couple of weeks ago there weren't any walls. Carlos and Charlies is just up the block from them and basically the same thing.
