We own a condo a couple blocks from San Francisco de Asis. In looking at your map, I noticed that you have Calle 16 as the street running east/west on the north side of the supermarket. I walk that street all the time, and it is marked as Calle 14 bis. We would call it 14 and 1/2 in English. Calle 16 is one street further north. Also the street just north of Constituyentes is 20, not 22. It's all in my neighborhood. Many times there are no street signs at all, so we've learned our way around by asking what street we are on now.

Thanks for the input. I'll let Anna know you think she's wrong on the labeling of 16th street. She's the cartographer of the family.

I do know, however, that Constituyentes is, in fact, 20th street. So the street one block north of it would be 22nd.

We were told by Señor Ballesteros, who owns the Ballesteros curtain/drape business on 30th just north of Constituyentes, that Constituyentes is not part of the number sequence. But I will not argue the point further. It's not worth it. Hopefully Playa will soon be part of my past. Two years of Playa has been plenty and then some.

We are coming to the Porto Real Suites next weekend. Where on your map would that be located on the beach. By the way, we hear great things about PDC and that's why we're coming to spend our honeymoon. Thanks!!

Porto Real is on the east/beach end of Avenida Constituyentes. Have a great honeymoon!

jah is right, I made the same observation like him/her. our house is situated on 22nd street and the street next to the constituyentes is 20th. or don't we exist? could also happen in mexico..
