posada freud

Hi,

I've e-mailed the Penthouse Posada Freud asking for info twice in the past couple of weeks but haven't heard from them.

Has anyone dealt with this hotel before and encountered problems getting in contact with them?

Are there problems with this hotel?

Hi Maria:

We will be staying at Posada Freud for 2 weeks from Dec 28-Jan 11. The first week in one of the larger luxury rooms and in the penthouse with friends who are joining us for the second week.

All of my correspondence with Posada Freud has been via email. Monica, one of the owners, and Nikolien, who works there, have both been wonderful to deal and very accommodating. Sometimes it takes a day or two for one of them to get back in touch with me, however, they always respond.

Actually, I just had a series of email correspondence with Nikolien this week because they recently made some changes in their computer systems and she wanted to confirm our reservations to make sure everything was accurate in their new system. But again, the response time sometimes was a day or two - not immediate like so many of us have come to expect in this digital age. It's good to remember that things in Playa move at a slightly different (slower) pace. Of course, this is one of the reasons so many of us love Playa so much.

We like Posada Freud. It's gotten even cooler with the new
Dutch operators. The rooms have lots of personality and the location is quite central.

I'm not exactly sure what your question is about the email. The contact people I have been working with since August have not changed nor has their email address to my knowledge.

How are you trying to contact them? Through their website? Send me a pm (private message) with a little more specific info and I'll see if I can help you out in reaching them.

I have just received an email from Monica, one of the owners, at Posada Freud. She confirmed that they are experiencing internet problems and are working with the local phone company to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. They are receiving emails, however, only very sporadically.
