If I was the one who lost my purse while there, the first thing I would probably do is check in with the local police to see if anyone had turned it in. She needs that ID to make it back home.
Of course, I'm not sure if the police work the same as here in the US but it might be a good place to start. Perhaps also calling some local hotels to see if she is registered there.

Oh, as to what's in the purse, there's a fascinating compendium of one woman's life - but strangely not including any makeup or even a mirror ... this is clearly a woman who is secure in her appearance, good on ya!

Boarding pass stub? Call the airlines, and leave a message with them. I bet they can find her.

Hey Cuffed, no contact since you tried to teach me the cool 'here' thingy (to no avail, but in fairness I haven't tried it since).

All the personal info so far is about other people, because all I posted was her name and city.

Peeps, please go back and edit out the phone numbers and addresses you put in, none of them are her anyway.

I know nationality has nothing to do with it......

I think what PDS just said sounds like the best place to start followed by the local police maybe.

Hey Peeps, I know a Daronco (Da Ronco) in my home town. I will contact them and see if they know Kimberly. I am in Superior, WI. Just a few hours from Mpls.
I'll get back to ya if I find anything.

Snow Blind, that's a good idea.

In fact, any peeps currently in Minneapolis, if you could make local calls to any Daronco's you find in the directory, maybe we could luck into a relative who could help us locate her.

My husband got an offer from someone to take the (wallet-sized) purse back to the U.S. and mail it to Kimberly. Problems with that idea are: 1) she might need her driver's license to get back in and 2) what if she's relocated here and that's why her phone is not working??

I checked again this morning with a couple of vacation rental cos., but no luck.
