Going thru Playa Withdrawal...HELP....
I'm sitting here having a couple of beers but it's just not the same. We've only been home for 4 days now and this single digit weather has me bummed out. The only white stuff out there is snow not white sandy beach. Maybe a few more beers and some tequila will help? Will update.
Don't think we can survive 300 days till we return!! |

I know your pain, we did it for 5 years and decided one day that we were moving and have been here for a year now. I would not change a thing. The pain of the last five years made this last year amazing. We're from the Chicago area and i don't miss the snow or cold one bit, or the heating gas bill. We have 2 of our 4 children here, the youngest, and they love it here too, So keep having your chin up and just know you will be coming back soon, nothing can keep you away.

Oh you definitely have Playa-itis. Only known cure is more beer and tequila but they have to be taken in Playa to be effective. The address on my driver's licence is where my body lives but my heart lives in PDC! Welcome to the club!

I just came back from talking to a very nice couple from Bulgary, they just took everything and started over, here. They are so happy, opened a snack bar called Frito and although they will not make a big fortune, they are happy here. The rest of my family is in Mexico City and I cannot understand why they donīt just move here! that is the only thing I miss
You would be happy here! |

Where is Frito located Claudia? It would be nice to visit their business to support them. Yes, it is difficult to be away from family. I hope that you get to see them once in a while. Do they ever visit you in Playa? |

It is on 10th ave. next to the ice cream place right in front of Pelicano Plaza there are so many small businesses like that I would like to support, this campaign is making me put a lot of weight on! I see my family when it is possible, at least once every 2 years, my mom sent tickets for me and my son to spend Chritsmas there and it was great. but a ticket costs about the same or more than a trip to the US about 350 US round trip. and it takes 2 hours to fly there. |
