Hotel Costa del Mar

Hi there,

Has anyone stayed at the Costa del Mar? We have some questions about the accomodations so we know what to bring. Can you contact me if you have stayed there recently.

Hi, Just joined and saw your question! I have stayed at Costa Del Mar the last 2 years and absolutely love it! My parents have been going down to Playa for the last 10 years and stay there all the time.
What would you like to know?

Hi Heidi,

We are there now. The staff is great and rooms are nice. Great to be so close to the beach. The only thing no one told us about was the loud night music at El Pirata, their bar. The bass is cranked to the max from 11 to 2 am (when the owners leave) and we haven´t been sleeping so well. OK when you don´t have to get up early for a tour, but not fun if you are not at the bar partying. The staff at the bar has turned up the volume each time the owners have asked for it to be turned down. :cry: Bummer for such a nice place.

I hope you are having a great time. I sure miss it down there. That's to bad you arent sleeping very well. Are you in the Cabanas? I was usually so tired after being on the beach all day or had had to many cerveza's to hear the music.

But the last time we were there we were up on the top floor across from the office and I really didnt hear to much music.

Is Jose and Rueben still there? Is there a George there also? My parents said he wasnt there last year that he went to work at an all inclusive. Jose and George are the greatest! If Jose is still there can you tell him that Senor & Senora Eagala's (that is how they say Eagle, I dont know if it is spelled right though) bambina says "HI" and "HI" from Senor and Senora Eagala also. That would be so nice!

You will have to post how your trip went when you get back. How is the weather?
