I am a carnivore and wanted to try that HC place but my wife didnt feel comfortable going too far off of 5th especially after dark. I will definately do it this year.

It is well worth it. Go before dark-they close at 7:00 usually anyway. When we were there the first time when it was so packed it was about 2:30-so maybe you can plan around that.

Day 4

Woke up at 7:15 feeling refreshed. I went down to save some chairs and a palapa. I came back to the room and Josh was up! Wow. Nice surprise so we sun screened up and went to the beach. Another beautiful day. Man we love it here! Walked down to get some breakfast-Push Carts! Yeah! So yummy. We should get Josh a cheeseburger today. I am sure he is missing them by now. He is such a trooper with all of my food adventures. Love ya babe! We take a walk down to Mamitas to say hi to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on">Nancy</st1:City> (maestranmb) it is pretty busy down there. They are leaving tomorrow, but we will see them later at the TB Peep Meet. Walked back down to the hotel and relaxed. Man those palapas are nice. So cool under the shade with the warm breeze and the sound of the ocean…ahh I am there..................…

Okay I am back.

I decide it is time to start investigating what is for lunch. I kinda want to go to La Casita de los Guisos to compare their tamales to the ones we has last night. Josh says that is weird. I semi agree.

I think he has had enough food exploration for right now. Not wanting to push it I suggest we head back to the pollo asado place we checked out yesterday. We ordered a half a chicken a piece. James says to do it this way instead of ordering a whole chicken-this way you get twice the side dish.

Thanks James! Two ½ chickens, marinated onions, salsa, rice and a lot of tortillas for 75 pesos! They pack it up quick and we are on our way back to the hotel. I am taken back on how heavy my package of food is. Am I going to be able to eat all of this? Oh well if not the room has a fridge, and cold chicken is a good after drinkin’ snack. We take it back to the room for a little picnic.

After a while it is siesta time.

I am not tired, but Josh naps.

We decide we should start with beer tonight since we have been drinking cocktails since we got here. Sounds good right? Went and bought a six pack of Sol and a lime. Got my baby up from his nap, had some beers and people watched on 5<SUP>th</SUP> for awhile. We were walking up 5<SUP>th</SUP> and heard some loud music and people dressed in bright blue outfits. Oh yea, the carnival starts tonight. So we go catch a spot and watch the parade. No pics-by the time the parade came there were tons of people and I was not about to stand on the scaffolding things that were on the corners. I might fall and spill my beer-or break something. Anyway, we decide to head back to the room. So much for the beer-we are back to cocktails. I was trying to pace myself but I am not good at marathon drinking. I kinda swing for the fence and then I am done. We had some more cocktails and headed for the TB peep meet.

Josh, SusieQRoo, and Me

We talked to Nancy and Sarah, Angelhouston, Carol, SusieQRoo, SarahB, James, of course there were lots of other peeps there, but since we started early-uhm, drinking early, we didn’t make it that long. Thanked James for the recommendation for the pollo asado place and told him it rocked. We had a couple of more rounds while talking to a couple from NJ. I decided we were going to take a walk and get another cocktail from the room, but when we got there the room started spinning. I needed some food. Pizza Pazza seemed the easiest. It was not easy. I was hammered. I gotta start eating dinner before going out drinking. Josh was not ready to go to bed, but I was out for the count. Sorry babe, next time I will be sure to eat dinner beforehand.

Looks excellent! Where is it located? Have heard a few pollo asado places mentioned on the board, but no actual addresses. GREAT REPORT! I will be down Thursday, cant wait!!!

It is at Calle 2 and 20th on the corner. Asadero el Pollo Estilo Sinaloa is the name
