We love this little place on the corner of 6th street and 10th avenue with an open air grill. Lots of locals eat here....not much on typical tourist atmosphere, but the food is great and the price is right...try #1 Combinacion under tacos....you get a big plate of grilled chorizo, chuleta, mushrooms and cheese for 52 pesos...enough food for two....includes a small amount of guacamole, chips, tortillas, salsa and pico de gallo..the beer is extra

Hi Jacko! I hope you two are having a wonderful trip! I am soooo jealous.

I love Los Almendros, Don and I ate there twice both trips! Great food, good value.

We always found the food good, but the service spotty. One truly bright spot, however, is their frozen margarita. Granted, we did not make it our life study down there, but it was the best I had down in Playa!

I think Los Almendros is actually my favorite place for tacos al pastor. I know, I know...El Fogon is great too!
