Kirby Puckett, 1960-2006 RIP
A very sad day in MN sports history...one of the greatest ball players is dead at 45. May he live on forever in our hearts and memories.

Both are so sad. the only thing that is comforting is the Dana and Chris are together again - they appeared to be so devoted to one another. But their son must be lsot. I cannot imagine. It really is true - the good die young.

These are both complete shockers to me. My husband told me that Kirby had fallen on somewhat of hard times after retiring from baseball, but what a role model he was for younger people. Very classy person.
And Dana Reeve! OMG, she was just diagnosed with cancer a couple of months ago...I thought that if anyone could beat that horrible disease by sheer determination and will, it was her. My heart goes out to her son. The world is a much poorer place today without these two wonderful people. |
