Isn't that absurd?

I'm still pondering over the issue of which country is actually most authoritarian and most disruptive of the international peace?

Which country is most intrusive on the internal affairs of other states?

Which country deviates the most from international law?

Why isn't China subject to a compatible embargo?

If ever there was a more blunt expression of Kafkaeske reality here it is.

Hi there TeeZet,
couldn't control it, especially as there has been a dramatic scarcity of polemic and contoversial threads these days.
I'll try to refrain from such deviant behavior from now on.

Awesome report and pics. Can't wait to go back! I love the red soil and the green foliage! The people are so genuine.

Thor, I am jealous! Someday I would like to go to Cuba, too. I know that Norway is also a beautiful country with lots of fjords and good fishing. We have more Norwegians here in Minnesota than other parts of the US. You would feel at home here with the traditional lutefisk dinner for Christmas!

I would love to go to Minnesota some day. I don't eat to much lutefisk though.

Great report Thor

I too visited Cuba a few years back and was amazed by the country and it's people. We stayed at an AI west of Santiago (southern tip near Guantanmo Bay) and had a glorious 2 week stay. Food was alright as you say--but the genuine sincerity of the people was impressive. I had the pleasure of playing baseball in a small town called Chivrico one sunny afternoon, Canadians vs a bunch of cuban locals and boy did we get a lesson.
Not only are they talented musicians but can they play ball. A trip I will always remember. Thanks ever so much for the pictures and the awesome report.

Thank you! Havana, the interior and the all inclusive resorts, and, as you say, the people. Its all worth it.

Wink Thank you Thor

]I have read many trip reports in this forum and have enjoyed each one as well as the pictures included. BUT, your report have been the most professional and informative. As stated by so many, your pictures are yes, breath taking. This is my first posting since coming back to the forum and I am grateful for the opportunity to say, Thor, you are the best.
