Going in late January; comments from anyone on the rooms, pool, meals? Suggestions on things to do and things to avoid are welcome. Is any nudity allowed on the beaches? Which restaurant is recommended?
Thanks, and cold in Toronto. Please advise.

Just got back from the Spa Palace on November 23rd. The resort is wonderful! We were on the Aventura side of the resort which seemed a little bit more active. The Spa side appeals to those a little more laid back or are really into to fitness. Either way you can't go wrong.

Mundaca restaurant is the BEST! Most of the others are only open for dinner and unfortunately, we were out most nights doing other activities so we missed dinner (however, we did use room service often and the food and service were great!)

If you're not going until January, check back here for more information as I promised the forum that I would give a complete trip report when I got back! I've been extremely busy (Christmas season) since I got back and haven't had the time. I have some vacation time during the holidays and I hope to catch up then!

Forgot the nudity part! Since it is adults only nudity is not much of an issue. I saw women topless down by the lagoon as well as around the pool. Since it was chilly for several of the days we were there, not many people (men or women!) were going topless!

Never saw any total nudity any where but in my own room!

Oh... speaking of the rooms, they are great! Each has a double jacuzzi, spacious walk-in shower, liquor dispensers, mini-fridge stocked with beer, water, and soda, and a hammock on the balconey! Toss in the room service, multiple bars, happy hour buffets and what more do you need!
