Hi everyone!!

Hi ther. I am still bummed about missing the peepfest BUT there is some specials for the last week of spring break so I might just pop on down. A question...has anyone stayed at the Maeva Tulum lately? I'm bringing my kids so they say I must do the all-inclusive thing.. The only AI I've stayed at is Viva Maya and it just sold out this morning. So if anyone could give me any recent info...I'd be very greatful. Also considering the Copacabana resort. Anyone have any feedback on that resort? Thanks..Penny

I stayed at Club Maeva 1.5 years ago and absolutely loved it. It's intimate compared to mega-resorts and the beach is magnificent and huge. Check out the review section - I did one and that'll give you more details.

Given a choice, I'd opt for Club Maeva over the Copacabana (narrow beach).

Take a look at Grand Coco Bay as well. It's the first resort on the beach North of Playa( 15 minute walk to 5th) it's small about 200 rooms and we ( my friend and I) loved it.Of course it's had some bad reviews, but it seems no matter where you stay there will be someone who has had a miserable experience. I think the location is perfect, the staff work hard to keep it clean and the food is pretty good for AI.......

I agree with CaroleLB. We stayed at Copacabana last year and felt like we were fighting for space. Lots of people in such a small area. Walked down to Club Maeva several times and they had much more room to sprawl out.

We're definitely spending one of our two weeks at Grand Coco Bay this summer. The other week is still up in the air, but we're leaning towards Maeva. Carole...I trust your judgement, knowing how well-traveled you are!! We spend all day on the beach, so we prefer it to be spread out so we're not on top of each other (well, at least not on top of strangers! ) and the one thing I disliked about IB* Tucan was the fact that the beach is PACKED!
