Wireless Internet @ hotels ??
I know there are LOTS of internet cafes in Playa, but wondering if there are any hotels (not the AI mega-resorts) that have wifi in their rooms.

I created and uploaded the entire Peep Fest 2006 Photo Gallery over wi-fi from a laptop on the beach at Hotel Playa Maya. It worked great!

I also detected several other networks in the area, including Pelicano Inn next door and some others with more cryptic names I couldn't pin down to specific hotels.

Luna Blue had it last time I was there.....You can also go to the Tequila Barrel and use their WiFi....It's an open signal....And there are several up and down 5th that are open.....

Thanks to JimmyMN (who ROCKS by the way, in case we didn't make that clear!!!!!), the Luna Blue is proud to say that we do have WiFi for guests to use. Anyone who stays with us is welcome to bring a laptop to the front reception area where the signal is hot. And to cool you off, we'll throw in a couple of jello shots, a new Luna Blue tradition started by Monte, Myhappyplace2 & all the other naughty chicas!

Wireless & Jello Shots...now that's what vacation is all about!

I think the only danger of using wi-fi at Steve's place would be along the same lines as you see in that corona commercial...

I would be sitting in front of the PM, sipping a beer, watching the waves, checking all my emails from work and become overwhelmed with the urge to toss my laptop into the sea!

From this prospective Tony and Cheri, you guys just MAY have an edge over Steve by your LACK of beachfront!!!
