Recent Rui Palace Guests - mold?
I finally decided on the Rui Palace Mexico for our family vacation in August.
I have to admit - I'm one of those compulsive TA readers and there have been a couple complaints about mold. One family demanded that they be moved to the new Rui (not just to another room - said she could smell the mild in the lobby). Then someone else said they didn't notice anything. Has anyone who has been there recently noticed anything about mold

There was a post a while back on TA of a moldy couch in one of the ground floor rooms, probably got wet from Wilma. Also pictures. But it finally got removed and pretty well every post I've read says everything is fine again. We were there in Dec (3rd time) and the only smell in the lobby is occasional cigar smoke from the lounge area. We're also planning to return again in Dec.

The last two reviews on TA mentioned mold, as I said before the one family demanded to be moved to the new Riu. (Hmm, maybe that was her plan all along
The most recent review also mentions thefts. I think maybe I gotta stop reding TA. I'm just a little worried about the mold issue cause one of my kids has asthma. I'm wondering if it is occurring because of Wilma and everything got soaked. |
