Thanks Playa Info Tours!

Last year, in April, I booked three tours with Playa Info. I went on the Tulum one; my partner Dave and I went on the Chichen Itza/Valladolid and the Coba tours. Mitch was the tour guide. We also did the transportation service from and to the airport. We just got back from Puerto Rico. While we were in San Juan, Dave went on a rainforest tour while I did some stuff for work. He was so disappointed with the tour. The guide was very negative and kept cutting off people on the tour when they would try to comment on something or voice their opinions on US/Puerto Rican politics. Dave said that this tour didn't even come close to the tours we booked with Playa Info. He kept raving about how great Mitch is (I feel the same) and how well all the activities were planned; that plus we had plenty of cold beer to drink!

We will be back to PdC in May and Dave will be signing up for the Sea to Cenote tour. He loves to snorkel. We probably will go on the Tulum tour as well.

I hear ya, Sol. Once you've done a Playa.Info tour, nothing else can compare. The size of the group, the organization of the activities, the friendliess of the hosts..... they're the best!!

Thanks for your kind words. It's really nice to hear that you guys enjoy our tours.

Our philosophy is that the day should feel like you're being taken around by good friends who happen to live here. Of course, we do have an itinerary, but it's no set in stone and we don't rush people. The most important thing is to have fun and experience new things - if we're back in town at 5 or 6 pm, well it depends on the day... We don't skimp on the little things - on many tours you get a drink in a plastic cup out of a 2 liter bottle of soda, 'cause it's cheaper; on our tour you have water, cans of sodas and juices available at all times and beer starting at lunch. And snacks (chips, cookies, nuts, granola bars etc) all day. Details perhaps, but hey, that's what makes the difference. It's a mindset.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the yummy snacks. Everytime the bag came around to me, I would have a death grip on it. Another aspect I forgot to mention about the tours is the places where we stopped to eat lunch in Coba and Valladolid were great! The pollo asado lunch provided on the Tulum tour was so good. Not only is Mitch a fantastic tour guide, but he also knows how to set up a picnic lunch so it has a nice presentation.
