Okay usually I read cheesy romance crap...especially the historical romance.... You know the ones that say bosom...Love that word..

But right now I just started Nighttime is my Time by Mary Higgins Clark.. Easy reading..I am too stressed to get into something deeper right now.

Being a readoholic, I love this thread. Ordered this book thru our library network after hearing about it here, came in from another city's library last night. An old, yellowed copy. Read the first 30 pages last night and on the subway this morning, what a read! - hard to believe how little there was in Q.R. less than 50 years ago..

Graduated to the Playa Forum, eh?
Where you meet women and get to go lay with them on a bed on a Caribbean beach, where waiters bring you drinks and food.
Life better than fantasy??

My newest book on the nightstand: The Sex Lives of Cannibals: Adrift in the Equatorial Pacific by J. Maarten Troost

Life on a South Pacific atoll written by the husband of a woman who is working for a humanitarian organization.

It's great fun and far from romantic.

You keep it on the nightstand so potential "roomies" get an idea what is at stake?

Recently finished "Juiced" by Jose Canseco.

I am almost afraid to admit it, but I found this book in great condition for a $1 at the used book store. It's called, "Growing up Brady" and it's not very romantic yet, either! (I'm hoping Marcia, Marcia, Marcia! has some steamy little secrets to tell in Gregs book!).

Did I really just admit to reading this book outloud?

I did and I'm not gonna forget it!

I too made a trip to Half Price Books today, got two books for a buck each...
Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City, I realized I had never actually read the book so....
Also, my raunchy, sexy, beach book, Men at Work. Three short stories of the trashy romance variety! I don't ususally read this kind of stuff but I couldn't resist title I can't wait to hit the beach!
