Sorry Shammy

I even used the "search" button on top. I just typed in El Cid with no results. Reason I was asking is because they have a 3 night package for $600 leaving Dallas. I like the idea of all suites ( 3 bedroom is almost 2,200' ft) and 24 hour room service. At this price, it is less than the Royal Hideaway (which we thoroughly enjoyed).

No apologies necessary - just bringing it to your attention. And I'm thinking it would be better idea when searching for info anywhere to look up "Marina El Cid" or "Hotel Marina El Cid", and not just "El Cid".

And I don't know when you're looking to go but since the resort did just open, if you were lookin at travel in the near future, you shouldn't set your expectations too high in case they (like almost every other new resort) suffer from grand opening snags.

But if the price is $600 - snags or no snags, that would be a good deal for this resort.

Has anyone been to this resort since March? A few couples were considering going to this resort in January and I can't find much about it anywhere. If anyone has stayed there, can you let me know how you liked it? Thanks!!

I personally don't know anyone who has stayed there yet - but I'm interested in hearing more about it as well. I usually like some info before I feel comfy booking people to new(er) hotels.

Well, the reason I asked is because it is VERY cheap to go in January and our family is (once again) looking for an all-inclusive and we are trying to get it cheap, cheap, cheap. It looks interesting. I've read some reports on TA, but I don't trust them, so was hoping for some info from someone on this forum. I was hoping you'd respond Shammy, since you helped us so much last year and we had a GREAT time!
