Ready for Mexico! Need advice

Been to Secrets Capri (with Hubby), been to Royal Porto (with girl friends)...what's next? Have a great tax refund and am ready to go! Kids are an option , I would rather go without (have to find a sitter...mother-in law) for the LONG weekend.
If not more! What is is like in July? Both boys are at camp then...Thanks in advance for your help!

June to August

The summer in Playa is hot. This is also when the sea is the calmest, and has the best crystal clear turquoise look to it. The water is so warm you can stay in for hours. Blue skies prevail. Rainfall is seen, usually as short heavy afternoon showers after a hot day. There can be some wicked thunder storms this time of year, but they only last for an hour or so. Nights do not get cooler. Thin cotton clothes and a hat are your best friends this time of year. Along with your beach wear.
Maybe you wanna try non-AI this time?

I think if we bring the kids we will go AI and if not try a non-AI. I have to be right on the beach though. Any suggestions on non-AI's on the beach? Thanks!

contact ryberg. playa maya hotel. this site also has plenty of other places it recommends. good luck and have fun. remember a bad day in playadise is better than a good day at work. it is actually cooler there in july than it is in dallas area. i have been there over july fourth and checked the weather temps. it was usually 5-7 degrees cooler each day. of course all the 90's temps are hot.
