Difference between Iberostar Beach & del Mar??

I just priced the Beach and D<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />el Mar. Surprisingly, the price difference is substantial. I stayed at the Lindo before, so at least saw them. They both appeared to be the same, with nearly identical food and entertainment as the Lindo. Can anyone shed some light on what the differences are between the Beach and <ST1:pdel Mar and why the large price difference?

I dont think there is a difference other than one is booked on funjet and the other on apple. I would take the cheaper one for sure!

They are sister resorts and share all the same facilities. Go with whichever is cheaper. The only difference is they each have their own lobby, but you can use either one for fun and drinks.

That is the same way with the Tucan and Quetzal. The Tucan through Apple Vacations is cheaper always by $200-300 verse the Quetzal through Funjet. I agree, which ever is cheaper.

So is the Lindo even more? I'm waiting for 2/2007 rates to come out.

Yes. Lindo is usually more than the Beach and Del Mar. Maya is usually more than the Lindo.
