Is Capitan Bob's closed?

I'm pretty sure I read this in one of the many threads I have been on. We were hoping to take our daughter there in May. Does anyone know anthing?

If so, then yes, it's been closed for quite a while now.

I thought it said on the Playa deal card sheet that Captain Bob's was closed for remodeling. I know if for sure wasn't open the last week of February and didn't look like it would be anytime soon, but things can change pretty fast too.....

Well, it wasn't open when I was there in mid Oct, or the first week of December OR the first week of March! And usually when one remodels, there is some kind of actual work going on. All I have seen is an empty shell of a building and nada going on inside. Don't know IF that will change or when, but I think I heard the place itself was history. Maybe a local can confirm the latest gossip!

Thanks for the info. Is there anyplace else in Playa that has the quaility of beef as they did?
