Porto Bello Marina & Villas

Hello, I am new to posting on this fabulous site but have been reading information for over a year. Usually all my questions & concerns are answered by reading the threads here. Thank you too everyone who takes the time to make thiers posts. On to my questions. Hubby and I are planning a 2 wk trip to Playa next year Jan or Feb. (Not soon enough)

But we are getting a free week from some friends timeshare program. Our choices are The Royal Haciendas- in PDC. Everything I have read about this location has told me that they are still under LOTS of construction. So my other choice is Porto Bello Marina & Villas just outside of PDC. I can not seem to find out any information about this location. Good or bad, I was hoping that this forum could help shed some light on my choices. Our second week will most likely be at the Royal Porto Real, which is where we stayed for 10 days last year and loved it! Despite the construction, of which it sounds like it is pretty well finished. Thank you for taking the time.

Porto Bello is a time share complex in Puerto Aventuras, about a 20 minute drive south of Playa. They're pretty nice actually, from what I have seen from the exterior anyway. My hubby has a friend who owns one, we've just never seen the inside.

If you Google it, you'll come up with lots of info from time share sites, and many have pictures.

If you're getting a good deal and don't mind the distance from Playa, why not?
