Riu Tequila's Daily Scuba Lesson

Has anyone done the daily scuba lesson at Riu Tequila? What does it consist of? I am already certified, but I want to use it as a refresher. Thanks...

Scuba Lesson? What a laugh! All these resorts claim to have free scuba lessons and you can also pay for more advanced scuba lessons. Neither of them are PADI standard, just a "come on" to go for one of the expensive diving tours. Stand around and watch before you "dive in" and pay. The Tequila is no different. If you intend to do some serious diving, take a PADI refresher before you leave home. There are lots of dive shops that will take you on a tour and any respectable dive operator will make sure you know what you are doing before taking you out. :-?
