Road Trip! New Englanders Head South!

We're off on an adventure bright and early tomorrow morning. It seems like forever ago that we purchased tickets to a couple of Boston Red Sox games versus the Balitmore Orioles, but the trip is finally here. In just a few hours, we're driving from our home north of Boston for a weekend trip to Baltimore.

We'll be staying just outside the city, and going to the games Friday night and Saturday, but my favorite part is that we'll get to see some of our favorite peeps on Saturday, Banzoomba and MsRubio! We can't wait!!! We'll try to post a little trip report when we return!

If you want a different dining experience in Baltimore, we really enjoyed "The Helmand." It's an Afghani restaurant run by the brother of the president of Afghanistan, whose name temporarily escapes me. Very good food, and the resemblance was remarkable.

It's about 7 blocks uphill from the harbor complex.

NOW NOW be nice there are plenty of Soxs fans out heeya....and btw I support two teams, the RED SOXS and any team that's beating the Yankees.

Glad to hear you guys made it home safe and sound.

It was so great to see you two again...and having our "mini peep meet" with the kids worked out great...Mack and Chris sure hit it off...and Lord if Kelsey lived closer she would be hired as a babysitter for Marissa...she was wonderful with her.

I only wish our get together wasn't so short. But at least you got to see two good ballgames...that is for all the Boston fans it was good games....just sorry the weather wasn't good.

I still have to download the pics we took....will get that done soon and post them. And yes the crabs were very yummy for this early in the season....glad you enjoyed them....maybe next time we will get your kids to try them too.

Well, you just saw the evidence of one of the true highlights of the weekend in Baltimore. That Saturday lunch of crabs was sooooooooooooo fun! Thanks Monica for posting those pics. Between getting Kelsey ready for Italy (leaving tomorrow) and just being plain exhausted from my new job, I've hardly had a chance to come to the forum, much less post. But I promise to get back here to post a little trip report over the weekend.

i heard that the red sox were just sold to a gentleman from the Philipine Islands. He is going to move them there and change the name from the Boston Red Sox to the "MANILLA FOLDERS"

Tell Kelsey I hope she has a wonderful trip...what an opportunity for her...she is gonna have the time of her life.
