well, i have to say that i had one of the most AMAZING first dates yesterday. i went out to his lake house, we drank Hangar One Mandarin Blossom vodka on the rocks out on his beautiiful deck, and took his boat out for a cruise. once back on land, he made us some smoked salmon with cream cheese on garlic parmesan bagel chips to snack on. for dinner, he cooked out some fabulous medium rare ribeyes and a sauteed spinach/onion/garlic/mushroom dish. dinner was served with a fabulous bottle of Hess Select Cab. we then danced in his living room. didn't make it home until 2!!!
he has already called me today on his way to DFW...he's a pilot. made plans to stop by his place next Sunday after my flight gets in from Playa!! so, don't give up Lolabella. i seriously was having my doubts. A'ndrea |

I'm a guy and I have had A LOT of bad dates
way back when. I was in a dating service for a while and put an ad in a local paper twice. The worst ones for me were when my date would 'go silent' and I couldn't start or continue a conversation at all. One of the stranger matchups through a dating service was when I got matched with a girl 'friend' of mine -- I never had the nerve to ask her out on my own -- I think we went out for 3 or 4 months. But... I did meet my wife through the 2nd ad I placed. We've now been married over 15 years!! I had to look up the 'PUI' acronym you used. I just didn't know. I compared the list with the time of day you posted and it was very clear. PUI Pack Up Items PUI PARC User Interface (Ted Nelson) PUI Pilot Under Instruction PUI Polyurethane Intermediate PUI Posting Under the Influence (usenet newsgroups) PUI Potentially Unwanted Installations (spyware) PUI Primarily Undergraduate Institution(s) PUI Programmer-User Interface PUI Project Unique Identifier I hope you find the right guy soon! I read A'ndrea's posting - what a great date she had. Her date might actually fit the PUI acronym too. --Mark Quote:

Andrea! That sounds like fantastic date...
I haven't had a date like that in ...hell, years! Lolabella, a friend and I were just talking a couple of hours ago about how hard it is to meet someone you 'click' with. I haven't given up either, just taking a short break.. I'm almost ready to get back on the horse....so to speak ![]() |
