So before hitting submit we called the hotel's reservation line and were directed to an outside travel agency (I was hoping they would price match and we would have peace of mind) of some sort and the lady on the line said she HAD heard of bookit.com and had not heard either way of it being good vs. bad.

Fingers crossed since we jumped the gun.
