Going to be in Dallas

We (Daddio and I) are going to be in Dallas on April 27-30 and were originally planning on going to the Jimmy Buffet concert. Since those tickets are practically non-existent we were wondering if some of the peeps up there might be game for going to dinner and of course, drinks on Friday night. I'd love to meet so many of y'all that I read about every day! Especially since we'll get to see y'all again in Aug. at the Toobin Regatta.

My mom's house is in Duncanville and it's been awhile since I've cruised farther north than Sam Moon's, Highland Park, and Ikea. Therefore, I might need some direction.

Mexican, Tex-Mex, Steak, etc. all sound good. Daddio won't do the sushi thing (he's a meat and potatoes kind of guy). Yes, I'll be staying in D'ville...unless we need to crash in Highland Park at a friend's house. We will arrive very late on the 27th (Thurs.). The kids are out of school and I'm off from work for Fiesta (Friday). We're leaving town to avoid the crowds in San Antonio that weekend. My mom will have the kids so we get to cut loose, for once.

OH! That's Fiesta weekend!? My mom lives in Boerne and for whatever reason I've never been to Fiesta...always wanted to tho. I can see why you'd want to gt outta Dodge.

It's fun and crazy! In fact, the party begins next week and will not end until that weekend. I will say not one thing gets done in this town during those 2 weeks!

I may have to try to get down there for a couple of days. Would hate to miss a fun and crazy party....anywhere!
