Mexico entry help please...
Hey guys, don't know if anyone can help but thought I'd ask. We are taking my brother and sister in-law to Cabo in October. She is an Australian citizen, with a work visa for the US, hasn't gotten residency yet. So, what will she need besides her Australian Passport for entry into Mexico? Thanks for the help

As far as Bisbees we purposely go the week of, that way boats during the week seem to be more available prior to the weekend. Casa Raphaels sounds vaguely familiar, I'll have to check it out, thanks! Thanks for the info Daddy, Kony and Syn!! Appreciate it! ![]() |

First Seakony brings up a VERY good point. I seem to recall that there are restrictions on leaving the US for persons on a work visa that varies with the amount of time the visa holder has been in the US. Casa Raphael is the big pink building on top of the hill behind Billigans and the Office on the main beach in Cabo. Expensive but a great place for a special romantic dinner. You might also look into Mocambo Marriscabo for great seafood. The last time we were there the bacon wrapped shrimp was excellent Squid Roe can be a bit extreme. We generally like to get there after midnight. Pure unbridled hedonism at its best. One of the exotic dancers from Lord Black's made a decent pass at Becky one evening. Have a great time! Jeff PS: the glass factory is worth the time as well. There is no OSHA in Mexico. |

Thanks man, I talked to my brother last night and passed the info on, he doesn't seem to be concearned. It's a sad scenario really, they've been married for 20 years, have 3 boys born in the US, and he's a 20 year retired Navy Vet. She has lived in the US overall 16 years. 2 years ago see went to see her Mom, who was very ill, back in Australia. When she came back to the states she was denied entry. How absurd can you get? She had to stay in Oz for 6 months away from her family while the wheels of buracracy churned. Finally when they looked at her case and said "Oh...your OK"
Kind of a sad way to treat anyone, especially the 20 year wife of a retired Military man. I'll pursue the entry thing some more just to be sure though. Yeah, in Cabo there are SOOO many restaurants, sometimes hard to sift through them all to find the gems. Thanks for the recommendations. Can't wait till October ![]() Last edited by sideways : 04-13-2006 at 07:18 AM. |

In four weeks, I will be watching as her son and mine graduate from law school. But, she won't be there to see it, or to celebrate at the party we have planned at the local winery, because she can never enter the US again. |
