I was about to say after Mark's initial comment that some people have made similar comments from time to time to the effect that I'm a moderator or listed as a moderator or whatever. I thought they must be mistaken and that James had just flipped some switch quite some time ago so that I could post new threads on the News forum.
So then I should have been able to move that thread, too, I guess. I can assure you that I didn't know I had such a capacity (or I would have done it in such an obvious case instead of just talking and doing nothing), and that I surely don't know how I would "moderate" someone if the need arose!
Now why does that last bit leave me thinking of McKinzie...?

LOL! Yes, you really and truly are a moderator of the News/Gossip Forum. And yes, as a moderator you should have the powers vested in you to have moved that thread and any other threads in that forum... as well as being able to edit and/or delete them as you see fit.
Nice job hijacking Peter's thread too.
