PEEP MEET - 1st week of July?? Anyone?

This Peep Meet will be held on July 5th, 8PM at the Tequila Barrel located on 5th Ave in Playa.

Looks like there are at least a couple groups of Playa peeps that are going to be in area the first week of July. Wanna join us for a PEEP MEET? Lets start off by finding out who is going to be in town when so we can get the most overlap and then we can decide on a place. Maybe La Ranita or TB.

We had originally thought we may be staying at the Grand Palladium first week of July and a peep meet would've been great! Darnit! Last night we booked for a week in Varadero! Oh well....maybe next time!

Don't be nervous.......we won't bite It will be our first time to a peep meet as well. It should be a lot of fun......hope to see you there

Well, I don't know about that wild crowd at that latest Peep-Meet, but the one I went to was very large but very well behaved. Our only problem was that there were so many of us that we were spilling out onto the street and the local polica don't like that. Nothing wild or unusual. How long are you going to be in Playa? Your countdown timer says you are leaving in 30 some days. Are you going down to work at one of the resorts?

I'm going to be in Playa from May 28th until Sept. 5th. I don't have anything planned as far as working goes. I think (hope) I have enough money to tide me over, but I have a couple of friends who work in the resorts so maybe they will be able to get me a job.

Sounds like so much fun to just pick up and start work in Playa That was my idea years ago, but got married, had a baby, blah, blah.... Well, maybe we'll see you around. Good luck to you

Well, that is to bad, but I'm sure you guys will have a great time on Cuba. I would love to go to Cuba someday, but I doubt that will ever happen. Enjoy and be safe.

There has to be more people going to Playa during this time. Last year we must have had at least 30 people at the Peep Meet. Lets start beating the bushes.

p.s. make sure you post some pics of the GP along with a nice report when you get back! It's a toss up between the Lindo and GP for 2 weeks next year! :p

You know, when you were asking me about the Lindo awhile back, I went looking for my photos I had uploaded here on the site. Guess what? All gone. I remember a time awhile back that a bunch of stuff disappeared, and I guess they never came back. One thing I never got loaded up was some films that I made early in the mornings when I was out walking the property. I think I covered most of the place. I had wanted to check them uploaded, but had all sorts of problems. Maybe I should put them on my Tivo and then burn DVDs of them.
