A new school in Sacbe?

I heard some rumblings awhile back about the possibility of a new school being built in Pueblo Sacbe. I heard that it might be another Waldorf or perhaps a "classroom without walls". Can anyone in the know bring us up to date?

Currently there is a small provisional class being held for some children of the workers in the village. There has been much discussion in the last few months about the possibilities of schools for various ages of children in Playa. At this point there is only discussion. Watch the News section of our website - www.pueblosacbe.com/news.html - for any new developments about this and other changes over the next few months as Pueblo SacBe makes the transition to a community association.

I was reading your comments about Papalote.
We are moving over from London next year and looking at all the possibilities re: schools etc..
I have been told about Papalote, the Colegio Ingles and Colegio Puerto Aventuras. I just thought I could ask you your opinion on these. I have heard good things about all of them but Papalote sounds good.
I was also looking at your info and wondered if you live in Puerto Aventuras or Playa. We have two young boys aged 2 and 5 and we are considering both places. Puerto Aventuras is idyllic but maybe a little cut off - but maybe that would be great for us coming from London!!

Please let me know your thoughts - it would be great to have an opinion from somebody with their kids in education there.

My boys currently don't speak any Spanish at all although I do as I am Mexican.
