Airport Transfer

I was just about to reserve the airport transfers for our arrival in a few weeks, when a question stopped me.

There are 6 of us and we are all coming in on different flights, different times (don't ask). Of course I'll reserve the transfer van according to the last flight, but as I will be reserving it and paying for it - will it cause any confusion if my name is on the reservation for the van, yet the flight it will be corresponding to for our pick up will be my daughter's?

Does the van reservation need to match the name of the last arriving couple, or is that a non-issue?

You probably should ask us to put both names on the sign the driver will hold. Won't be an issue. What you should know, however, is that sometimes flights are delayed, and at times this causes a problem with "meeting" others to share a transfer. Our drivers will be checking the status of the latest arriving flight that you mentioned below, and will arrive at the airport accordingly. Airport security regulations prohibit the driver from arriving very early or hanging around for long periods of time at the airport, so if by some stroke of bad luck your party's earlier flight arrives seriously late, the driver might not be able to wait for them. You really shouldn't have a problem, especially if you are on commercial flights (it's usually the charters that run late), but we just wanted you to be aware of the circumstances.

There's 3 hours inbetween our flight and her flight, so I think we'll be okay - I hope! We won't care - we'll be in PDC!

Just a small additional comment. Airlines do not give out information on passengers, so it doesn't really matter what name we put on your sign - you can put Donald Duck if you want; the reason for the sign is for you to find the driver. The important information is the arriving flight. The flight information that you give us, is the one we check, and we cannot check if any of the other flights are delayed since we don't have that information.

exactly. you should come up with a fun code word to put on the sign. Or put Samuel Jackson on it and watch people flip out.

Oh - darn it - I already filled out the form! Wish I would have thought of that beforehand.
